Thanks for the feedback man. Admittedly, most of this can be countered with "i-it's an alpha" but I'll try to respond to each point made. By the way, for the smaller bugs like "music not starting in bot mode" and whatnot, you can probs just submit those in the bug reporter in the game (bottom right box in the main menu) and I'll definitely see and get to it ASAP.
you can't even see the mechanics in the deck builder
This is just an oversight on my part. You'll eventually see the little slide out from the duel cards in the deck builder. On top of that, there will eventually be icons displayed on a card representing each skill it has.
I can't differentiate between summon and spell cards
They'll eventually have entirely different designs, so this is just one of those alpha pains.
some of the ability values are the card's attack value and sometimes it's in the mechanic description, just put them all in the description to be consistent
This is pretty valid. I'll try to improve in this regard.
as for balance and game play, card values seem to be all over the place
They're pretty random at the moment. I haven't given much thought to the balance of cards yet, mostly because every patch I've been adding new abilities or changing what existing ones do. That being said, I'll make a rough balance pass before the next update to improve the experience of everyone testing.
I'd suggest putting in more cards to flesh out the game, even if you don't have art for them.
I've been on the fence about this, but I might just go ahead and do it.
music doesn't during bot matches
Good catch. I'll look into this one.
Health goes down by 1 at the start of each players turn, I don't know if this is intended.
This is the effect of the Leech Tome that you gave your deck in the deck editor. It's not intuitive at all yet, because it doesn't explain what the Tomes do at the moment. Sorry about that.
bots randomly stops summoning creatures
They may have ran through their deck faster than you (randomly generated), I'll look into it just in case though.
he summon card would do the burning animation but won't appear on the board.
This is kind of ambiguous as it could mean many things (lack of communication from the game to you, my bad). Currently you'll see cards burn away if you have to many in your hand, or if you sacrifice a card to a Mill tome (either you or your enemy), or if you or the enemy use a spell card or soul card.
you might want to make your road plan public.
Not a bad idea. I might do this a bit later down the line, I think it's still to early and everything in way to much flux to really show a solid plan for the public to see (and criticize without really understanding early gamedev).
